“Mathematics is the foundation for all Science and Engineering”.

The Department has come into existence with the inception of the institution in the year 2001. Mathematics is the base for all engineering disciplines. The department imparts knowledge of applied mathematics for the students to employ the mathematical skill in the technical field.

The department has Eight staff members having very good experience in teaching and research which is reflected in good results in VTU Examinations. The staff members are very much keen to involve in departmental and institutional activities both in academic and co-curriculum. The staff members are very much encouraged to attend the conferences/workshops and also to publish/present their research papers in journals and conferences.The Department encourages students to actively participate in programs conducted by “Applied Mathematics Club”.

Department of Mathematics Headed by Prof. Parshwanath P associating with the institution and having 37 years experience. He has completed his M. Sc. (Mathematics) from Bangalore University in1976 and having specialization in Magneto Hydrodynamics and Fluid Mechanics.

He has attended 2 Fresh Courses and 2 Orient Courses conducted by Bangalore University. He has organized various National Level Workshops in the Department of Mathematics. He has involved in the Sports Department and also Member, Superintendent for conducting Examination for undergraduates.
Served as a Executive member in Karnataka Jain Association for 20 Years.
