PRINCIPAL

Dr. Tulsidas D is the Principal of Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Bengaluru. He completed his BE in Mechanical Engineering from M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore University, his Masters in Machine Design from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University and his Ph.D. from Bangalore University

He served in B.T.L.Institute of Technology, Bangalore, as a lecturer for 5 years, he joined Jain University, Kanakapura, as Assistant Professor and later he served in Acharya Institute of Technology and Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Bangalore as Associate Professor. He joined Sapthagiri College of Engineering as Associate Professor, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering & also served as Professor  & HOD in Mechanical Engineering, about 7 years.

He devoted 22 years to teaching young engineering students. He has been a creative problem solver who consistently demonstrates excellence and quality in research work with National and International publications in his account. He has published 3 patents in multidisciplinary areas. He guided more than 70 B.E. Projects and 10 M.Tech projects. At present he is guiding research scholar leading to a Ph.D. degree under VTU. He is associated with many internationally recognized organizations. He served as Member, Board of Examiner, Board of Studies of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, REVA University, Bangalore and UVCE, Bangalore University. His Research Interest is Analysis of Rotating Components, Vibration, FEA, and Composites Materials

Our mission is to provide ambience for all round development of young minds so that they can aspire to be accomplished engineers of future. To reach out the fullest potential I have the best team of talented faculty and supporting staff with ever encouraging and motivating management.

Our strength is in the ability to adapt teaching and learning methodologies with focus on life skills, lifelong learning and usage of state of art technological tools with impetus for research and development. In this regard we have collaborated with highly reputed industries and institutions to meet our goals. We ought to mould our students to become strong academically, emotionally and physically through personality development, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
